Ms. Sheehy has been a practicing GIS professional for five years.  Prior to joining TSSW in 2015, she completed her doctorate in Environmental Ecology at the University of Helsinki, Finland. She has published seven articles in well-known peer-reviewed scientific journals and has successfully written grants and produced project reports.

As Operations Manager and Senior GIS Analyst, Ms Sheehy designs, implements and troubleshoots company-wide GIS data processing and quality assurance workflows; coordinates daily mapping operations; trains staff; and automates procedures using Python scripting. Ms Sheehy is an expert in legal document interpretation and Rights-of-Way conversions to GIS.  She routinely designs and performs complex GIS analyses and is the lead person integrating TSSW workflows with ArcGIS Online. She also creates Story Maps to present project findings and workflows to clients and the public.
